Pulagam Annam/Yellow Rice

Ingredients:
  • Rice - 2 cups
  • Moong dal/Pesara Pappu - 1 cup
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water - 6 cups
  • Ghee

Procedure:

  • Wash rice and moong dal in a bowl and add water.
  • Add salt and turmeric and mix it.
  • Cook the rice.
  • Add ghee on the top and serve hot with coconut chutney.
